IMMERSE

In our first full year since Covid, we brought philanthropists, churches, and law enforcement on transformative journeys across the US South and reopened travel to Israel/Palestine.

Check out this award-winning story on Telos’ work with law enforcement in the US South.

Powerful New Partnerships

When peacemakers meet and exchange learnings across contexts, powerful things happen! This year, we organized two collaboration trips with our partners.

The Parents Circle Families Forum from Israel/Palestine visited the US South.
Our partners and other Black leaders from the South joined a trip to Israel/Palestine.

TRAIN

Telos is bringing peacemaking from the margins to the center of society, consulting dozens of organizations, artists, and churches on integrating the Principles and Practices of Peacemaking into their work.

Check out this Ted style talk by Telos President Greg Khalil on the power of peacemaking to transform our world.

We graduated six pastors in our first ever Peacemakers Cohort for Christian leaders—alumni Michael and Kate hosted a reflection and action focused Advent event in NYC to train their church in peacemaking.

REVIEWS

The lessons learned about humanity and the history of our nation will make me a better police officer. That’s said without a doubt.”

2022 ReStory US Law Enforcement alumnus

“I feel more at home in my skin as a champion and believer that peace not only could be a possibility, but MUST be a possibility in not only the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but in conflicts from as large as those between countries, or as seemingly small as those in my city.”

ALUMNI ACTION

Our alumni returned home to write op-eds, record podcast episodes, engage in advocacy, and share social media posts reaching tens of thousands.

Check out book by Telos alumna Kelley Nikondeha.

After his ReStory US Telos trip in 2019, retired Police Commander Mike Horn knew he had to be a part of change in his profession. With his leadership, Telos is now bringing groups of Law Enforcement to the US South to transform community-police relationships across the country.

THANKS TO YOU

We had a successful EOY campaign! Thanks to our donors and partners, we raised $360,000 to support the work of peacemaking.

We’re still in need of support from our network to meet our 2025 ReImagine goals: Give to the work of peace here.
